Noor Academy High School Scholars Join Community Event at Charlotte Courthouse.
On a crisp early autumn morning, the high school scholars of Noor Academy participated in a community event at the Friends of Charlotte Courthouse Library in Charlotte Courthouse, Virginia. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the students brought baked goods to sell, contributing to the atmosphere created by various tables offering crafts, home goods, and other local treasures.
The bake sale was one of many tables that brought together neighbors and vendors in a celebration of community and creativity. Amid this lively event, the Noor Academy scholars proudly introduced their school and connected with residents in the community.
A Day of Learning and Connection
The experience offered the Noor Academy students much more than the chance to raise funds for their annual field trip. It became a platform for meaningful engagement and learning:
Networking with the Community
Discovering Community Talent
Teamwork and Initiative
Exploring Library Resources
During breaks, the students signed up for library cards and checked out books. They left with a renewed appreciation for libraries as essential community hubs for learning and inspiration. The scholars extend their gratitude to the Friends of Charlotte Courthouse Library for hosting the event and to all the community members who visited their table. With the funds raised and the connections made, they look forward to their upcoming field trip and to continuing their journey of growth, education, and service.
